The caustic dialogue writer turned director Ravi Srivatsa in his sequel to the underworld subject ÂDeadly-2 has set a new record in the screenplay of the film. There are 131 scenes in the super fast narration pattern adopted by Ravi Srivatsa. This is the highest after the Hindi film ÂMission Istanbul that had 148 scenes.
It is the first film in South India to contain 131 scenes in which 79 scenes are in the first half. A normal feature film only 70 to 80 scenes in the entire film. Ravi Srivatsa has 52 scenes after interval making it to 131 in a total duration of two hours and three minutes he says.
The film ÂDeadly-2Â first sequel in the underworld according to protagonist Aditya is captured in one lakh plus feet of film and in the editing room it was brought to 131 scenes that has 5300 shots in the film.
This film ÂDeadly-2Â has a strong message to the police department and system says Ravi Srivatsa. Aditya is equally happy like director that the film has shaped up well. There is no chance for drag in the film.
Another interesting point Ravi Srivatsa made is that to give a sharp and quick look to the movie he has removed the four songs prepared for the film. Only a Bhajan in the prison is kept. The loss of three songs costs Rs.8 lakhs. ÂThere are already nine songs in the bank of our production. We would use these songs in our future film productions said Manjunath.
Aditya and Meghana Mudiyan play lead roles while Suhasini Mani Ratnam is in a crucial role that she has not performed so far in her career. The film ÂDeadly 2 is all set to release in the first week of August 2010.
